Steve Huff mentioned in the first thing that he'd rather go out and get a
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1 full frame for roughly the same bucks.
I certainly agree and I'm sure that opinion will end up being the
consensus.
Tests will show the pix coming out of the Sony wiping the smaller format but
same priced Leica right out of the water.

Also the issue is which camera LOOKS more elegant
And I think its a tossup.
The Zeiss in front of the Sony is not so compact but is overwhelmingly
GORGEOUS. As is its inner design. Making us feel as we could take a great
shot of ANYTHING. with the images would prove us right.
The glass in front of the Leicas is certainly not going to appeal to
connsiouers of any ilk. And the people with the big bucks are gonna wanna
know what the people in the know in the photo department think before the
pick out their latest classy photo neckwear. A lot of them.

So we're going to have the company which makes the walkmans winning the
compact camera war with the company which makes the best cameras. Leica.
A huge thing for Sony. A huge not so good thing for Leica.

Shooting with the Sony would be a far more exciting and rewarding
experience.
And this kind of thing should belong to Leica.
Its like coming in second on purpose and having your pretending you won
speech all written out ahead of time.
"don't look at the camera behind the mirror"
