You are absolutely right. I don't like this USB connector on my camera, but
it gives me fanatastic pictures.  There must be a reason we will probably
never know. It could make that type of camera cheaper and of course easier
to use.

Due to the fact that my PC is undergoing a major intervention these days, I
had to switch to the new Laptop (Lenovo) Win 8 of my wife. It's like Disney
Island, ir's fun for the children and older people, but not for me. I have
undegone a real hell that is not even finished. Certainly not with the
Leica M-9 softwares and even less with the others.

Tina I saw your'e having problems with some memocards. As I said, maybe you
switched the card into another type if camera or you didn't copy the
contents with the USB connection. Maybe the infos are still there. If you
can try again with another computer or another Windows. Or go to your
dealer, some dealers have special softwares to recover such things. I have
such a card that started working suddenly after I gave it  2 or 3
formatting operations.
