Awesome definition and quality of light and colour, in all of them, Jayanand.
As usual with your present gear :)
Beautiful bunch of singular faces.
Cheers,
Marc

The last installment of photographs from the walkabout around the Parry's
area on 30th December 2012 - mostly people shots, all
taken with the Nikon D800E and the AFS 85mm f1.8G lens except of one shot
with the 16-35 f4 set at 35mm. Thanks for bearing with me
on this almost unceasing flow of photographs!

On The Road: The man asked me why I wanted to take his photograph, and I
replied that it is because he was smiling - he went off
happy:

The next four shots are in and around a Jain temple in the area. Jainism is
thought to have had its roots in the Indus Valley
Civilization, but is practiced today as formulated by the saint Mahavira
around the 6th century, has to be the most non violent
religion ever devised by man. All life is sacred, including bacteria, and
holy men will walk only barefoot, and breathe through
masks made of muslin, to minimize damage to other forms of life.

Three shots of kids on their way to the temple:

The last one is of two devotees in the temple itself. Jain temples are
generally constructed from white marble:

Comments and criticism, as ever, welcome.

Cheers
Jayanand
