I do hear of folks using the Alpa for hand held. Some of the results I've
seen are impressive (mostly architecture/landscapes) . The newer model
digital backs tend to do pretty well up to 400 ISO, so in bright sun they
may be usable.
I believe Rabiner ran into a guy in NYC who was carrying around his Alpa on
a neck strap.
