The South is definitely on my photographic list. I have a good friend who
is a fellow blues traveler - he was able to drive across Parchman Farm (he
actually came to a fork in the dirt road that the guards had not told him
about - I asked if he spun a whiskey bottle around to determine which way to
go). I know most all the juke joints are gone now, replaced by casinos, and
the Crossroads is marked by a sign on an interstate exchange, etc. Anyway,
I have a growing collection of spots to visit on a road trip. Maybe this
May.

I love the South and would miss it terribly. There are plenty of us who
don't fly Confederate flags, support Obama, vote Democratic, and don't
stereotype others.

There are many of us, however, who wouldn't miss the south a bit.
