The funny thing is that at my $dayjobs$, I do really low level technical
computer programming stuff. Probably no more than a few small thousands of
people in the whole world doing it professionally and 3/4 are probably in
India.

And while I use Lightroom and Photoshop and trying to tweak the images to
the best of my abilities, I have no interest in checking technical data.

Primarily of course it's because most of my cameras do not provide those
info, but also really I just don't care.

So I agree with Uncle Ted. Just shoot. Learn by photographing. I know
approximately the effects of shutter speed and aperture and ISO. No need to
get precise. Shoot, shoot, shoot.
