The best I have been able to figure is if it says "FOR Leica" it is an
aftermarket job.

Also, Leica does not ( up to this point) use the BLI312 designator.

Note:  The M uses a different battery.......

Is it fair to say that if a battery has the Leica part number (14464) on it,
it is a Leica battery, and if not, it is a third party battery?
