My tea rose is planted on the west side of the house, which means it gets
battered by the storms that roar in from the south as well as the normal
fronts that move from the northwest,

The bush was planted 50 years ago from a cutting, and my neighbor Adrene
planted another at the same time in a protected spot in her garden. Mine
blooms almost all year long, and her rose rarely does. I give it no
special care except cutting it back. Amazing.
