Tina,

What I see in these photos is a limited tonal range, and the detail 
seems to be wanting.  I was wondering...have you tried a high-res scan 
with a drum scanner or Imacon?  In looking at the images I have the 
feeling there is more to be brought out.  (If I had taken photos like 
yours I would have an Imacon or whatever on next day delivery, if it 
would help! only $16,000 but a write-off if that was my business)  That 
is just speculation on my part, I only have a Nikon 4000ED scanner for 
the occasional 35mm scan.
