Perhaps I didn't explain clearly enough.  There is no 'problem'.  The
28 Elmarit ASPH just resolves much less very fine details in the
corners on a full frame camera than the 28 Summicron.  But it's still
better than very many other 28mm lenses, including some excellent
ones.  But unless you're looking at very fine detail on a flat subject
you're unlikely to ever see it.
