I'd just hate to be out with one of these cameras with some good stuff going down. I'd rather have no camera at all in such really great situations. And be going click click and NOT GETTING IT. I'm sure its like not having an umbrella. Makes it guaranteed to rain. And visa versa. I think M is all about portability and compactness. A Leica M or LTM IS YOUR COMPACT CAMERA! When you buy a Leica M you don't have to go out later and get a compact camera. You just bought one. It IS what you you use when you want to travel light or are otherwise lazy. -- Mark Rabiner http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/springdays/ > From: Tina Manley <images at comporium.net> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Thu, 29 Mar 2012 11:40:54 -0400 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] 60mm Macro on Fuji X Pro 1 > > Here is Alamy's list of acceptable cameras: > http://www.alamy.com/contributor/help/recommended-digital-cameras.asp > > And unacceptable: > http://www.alamy.com/contributor/help/unsuitable-cameras.asp > > Lots of point and shoots on the unacceptable list, including Liecas! > > Tina > > On Thu, Mar 29, 2012 at 11:31 AM, Mark Rabiner <mark at > rabinergroup.com>wrote: > >> Then be stuck with an image with limited use. >> The list of useable cameras for stock for instance. >> >> -- >> Mark Rabiner >> http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/springdays/ >> >> >> -- > Tina Manley, ASMP > www.tinamanley.com > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
