The open large multi-bench Land Rover based vehicles used in South Africa
made monopod use possible, if there was no one else on your bench, but there
weren't any places to use a beanbag. The pop-top Nissans in Kenya were not
monopod friendly as they were much more closed in and had struts to hold up
the roof. They were much better with beanbags if you had heavy equipment.
With the Panasonics, such support hardly made any difference.
