Subject: [Leica] Two pro video guys using Canon DSLR to shoot Art Opening

The crop circle factor on what the video guys are used to with their
standard 2/3's sized seniors is 5.62.
So the diagonal or normal lens for that format is a measly 7.70mm's.
The format is 6.16mm by 4.62mm.
Its no wonder thy are impressed by the images quality of a sensor hugely
bigger which even a 4/3's is let alone a 1.5 crop or no crop.
Can it all be about those micro depth of field shots?
I doubt its all about that. That's a nice accent of a larger format. A
limited dof option.
Mainly its about image format capture size. I've been looking it up.
Acreage like its always been size day one of still and motion picture
photography.
Area.
And they are willing to go thought rube Goldberg contraptions to get it.

Also there is the cost feasibility factor.
They can put tougher a system for seven grand not forty grand.
And even after spending 40 grand it would be a smaller format.
Other than the awkwardness its win win.
Less money for more acreage.
