Parr does some fascinating work but not in the artistic sense of Salgado, et al. Parr captures the numbness of everyday live sometimes and I see Eggleston doing something similar. While numbness may not be perceived as a high art form, it does cause one to stop, look, reflect, and consider. I find Parr's work quite interesting...
