Best to talk to Leica Camera if you have a new fault.
Their normal practice is to guarantee the whole camera for twelve months
after a paid repair as all functions are checked/adjusted as part of that
repair.
There is no reason to suppose that sending the camera for that pixel mapping
would 'use up' that repair warranty.
In the special case of a paid upgrade (frame lines/shutter/sapphire glass)
the twelve months was added to the end of any existing new warranty if
applicable

Cheers
Geoff
