no intention to throw oil on fire, but cartier-bresson was not a fan of 
darkroom. many of his pictures were made great by those who worked for/with 
him in the darkroom. i don't think we can say hcb to be a negligible event - 
so to say - in photography.

still agree that the final product on paper can teach a lot and that the 
excess of available technology produces an excess of self-confidence

running after the last tech products is a sort of short-term collectors' 
fever
