So the RAW data is not really what is recorded in the RAW file?  It's 
"tweaked" depending upon the lens attached or????

I can see the firmware controlling the amplifier gain depending upon the 
ISO selected. Also subtracting any measured dark noise from the sensor.

But, I thought Leica disdained the alteration of RAW data to corrected 
lens distortion or CA preferring instead to fix that in the optics of 
their lenses.
