Very realistic point of view.

Considering that my "R" gets little use these days - I use the "M" line for
95% of my work - film is the most economic way of getting to use my
excellent "R" lenses? Worked 25 years ago, still does! There still are a few
labs that do E6 in Paris and if I'm in a hurry, C41 will do the trick just
fine. A Nikon Coolscan for digitizing the roll et voil?! Much cheaper than
any DSLR approach I have considered in the last years... :)
Now, if I was to use an SLR for news and other urgent assignments, I'd
consider the Leitax or Canon way? Or even invest in a new system. I doubt it
will happen anytime soon.

All the best from sunny Paris!
