Agreed, thanks George. Absolutely.

What I found interesting in this quick and dirty experiment was that  
for the first time ever I managed to preserve the volume of the  
flower, which other lenses systematically flatten,
and I'm thankful to you for the technical inspiration :-)
Now it's back to the board
