My notes have nothing about the X-1 and I don't remember any discussion of 
it.  I seem to remember hearing from elsewhere something about a firmware 
update, possibly to deal with the slow focus issue. 

As I understood what Daniel said, the new camera would be totally new and 
directed primarily at M users.  He also said they were looking at a 
Photokina 2012 announcement date for the new camera.
