Jim,

I don't think you have too many choices.
- WD
- Seagate
- Hitachi/IBM

IMHO, anything below 1T bytes is not too bad on reliability.  I think the
key is to always backup.
Are you thinking of running RAID configuration?

I cc imagestore, which I think this belongs there.
