An absolutely amazing (and a little bizarre) place to stay is:

Propeller Island City Lodge <http://www.propeller-island.com/>

Hotel is property of this artist who has decorated all rooms in quite an
amazing fashion.
Just in case you wonder; its safe with kids too!

Very recommendable indeed.
