Subject: [Leica] OT: Custom tripod collar?

I have a 400mm Telyt with stock and a Leica-R adapter for my GH1, us
it and love it! It translates with crop factor to a 800 6.8 and realy
gets up close on bird shots, etc. But I've recently ordered a 200mm
f/4 Nikkor and I'd like to use the stock from my Telyt on the Nikkor.
I've heard that some companies make custom tripod collars which I
could use to attach to the stock but I'd like to know if anyone know a
way to fabricate a Tripod collar that might do the job. At over 60
years now I really need the shoulder stock to get sharp photos with
the longer lenses. Any help would be appreciated.

Jim
