I think the major film camera buyers now are students, mainly for the B&W
look. Foothill college, a community college, has a vibrant photo dept. and
most people there shoot film.

Some artists type too.

And photojournalists where sometimes film is the better choice. There was an
article recently about some buy going to one of the Poles and selected the
MP.
