Well hell now that you're up on the Gallery, if you make a mistake of some
kind you get bounced out of your account to the public main page where
you're likely to encounter the fine work of one "Laki K."

I recommend it. It comforts the afflicted as it were.

If you're in a big hurry, I strongly recommend this one photo, for reasons
more metaphoric than technical, since I don't know from technical when it
comes to All That Lighting, but I know a lot about the metaphor being
deployed, having, you know, given it some thought:

What you might call La Donna in Vincoli*.

And actually today she (he?) added a pic next to that previous one that is
done to look like an old scratched up run-over work print Very interesting
effect actually. I'd love to know how it's done.

V (as in 'vincoli') P

* *vincoli* means 'chains'. Actually any real Italian speakers please
correct me because I think there might be another more contemporary and
idiomatic word for chains. I know 'Vincoli" fro m the church in Rome that
has in a reliquarium what are purported to be the chains that bound St.
Peter, which church is called "S. Pietro in Vincoli."
