You list the "CL" under "Almost Leica" but it was a Leica camera by name and had Leica's logo on it and the name Leica on the front and Leica produced its lenses. The camera was manufactured by Minolta and Minolta marketed a version called LeitzMinolta, with its own Rokkor versions of the two lenses (introducing a third with the CLE later). But I believe Leica partnered in the camera design and the camera was sold at its stores and by its authorized dealers as a Leica (unlike the Leitz/Minolta or the later CLE, I admit). Perhaps because I'm such a CL fan, may I open the question of the placement of the CL under the honorable but not quite glorious category "Almost"? Indeed, doesn't the legend go that the CL did so well it killed the sales of the new M5?
