Engineering is much more fun when you can just dream! I'm sure that
Panasonic are selling a lot of cameras (and rightly so!)
I think that four thirds is arriving at a very smart place now with micro
four thirds form factors.
I have no clue on market positions elsewhere, here Pana and Oly are around
up to double conventional dSLR market prices currently. Nevertheless I think
that their target markets are finding the wonderful new cameras extremely
attractive (ask my wife). Doubtless it will improve, and deservedly so.
There is so much technology and coolness in that area that I may just buy a
couple for fun. One advantage of being a Leica enthusiast is that everything
else looks like a bargain!

Cheers
Geoff
