[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]At some point in 2008, I had over $100K balance on the credit cards. This is on top of the max out business line of credit. Yea, I made mistakes and I was stupid. Learned that lesson. Instead of buying 4 S2s, they went to pay the contractors that I couldn't shut the projects down fast enough because the economy tanked. I turned off the heat in Jan 2009. I cashed out the meager retirement money to pay bills and mortgage. I sold Leica. I would have sold blood. I even looked at the life insurance policy, briefly. With hard work and some luck and good planning earlier, we recovered. When you don't have to pay 14% interest on $100K, it feels good. This is why your "if you sell gears, you are sh*t" attitude is so distasteful. I am unsubing for a few days. This gets my blood boiling. I don't expect people to like my photo, I don't expect people to agree with everything I say, I don't expect saloon people to be friends, per se. Just not twisting a knife in the back would be fine. Thank you.
