Always the one for the tactful approach, Mark aren't you?

It's with a Russian 50mm so that's either an Industar 22, 61 or
Jupiter-3/8. All lenses known for their high resolution and lower
contrast. The Jupiters are straight Sonnar designs, a few of them
coming right from the original Zeiss tooling depending upon age.

This image is very sharp along the plane where Jim wanted it so. The
image has a black point and a white point. The gray scale between is
broad and contains lots of detail.

So that said you might want to:
-adjust the gamma on your screen
-learn that your opinion is just that and your vision is just that.
Others' may vary from your own aesthetic tastes.

Bottom line is your comment came off as just plain rude. There's
constructive criticism and then there's criticism beyond that.

But then again, maybe that's just my opinion...
