It was enough to close schools, roads, businesses etc. The biggest problem wasn't the snow though. It was the ice that caused a lot of grief. A situation exacerbated by the local authorities having to ration grit/salt as it ran perilously low. We had about 3 inches of Snow before Christmas and the ice was a problem then too. I took a tumble on my way to the shops and banged my right hip quite badly. According to the weather widget on my macbook, we're due to get some snow tomorrow (Monday) and Friday. Stay safe and warm!
