My wife and children were in Puerto Rico for Christmas, and besides getting stuck in Cincinnati and Atlanta on the way because of the snow on the East Coast, they did not experience anything untoward. Of course, we have the advantage of having US passports, which at least eliminates pre-travel hassles.
