[Leica] M9 Internal IR-Cut filter make the camera fragile to use?

Although they obviously have no obligation, it is still a ideal 
opportunity to boost their (often much maligned) customer service and to 
lose a little of the "brand-arrogance" they've been known for for so 
many years.

As to keeping demand up, I have heard that Leica is working flat out to 
meet the enormous demand for the M9 and pre-orders for the X1 camera.

They are almost certainly not out of the woods yet, but they do now seem 
to have started moving in the right direction.

Here's the Leica page with this year's Q1/Q2 Interim Report, a mixture 
of very positive news and quite a few negative figures. The situation 
still seems to be a little precarious:
