Subject: [Leica] Kodachrome at Dewayne's Still 1,000 Rolls a Day

And, of course, the story neglected the most obvious benefits of Kodachrome:
Proven longevity, and ease of identifying a image visually.

If you find a pile of Kodachrome images at a garage sale or auction, you can
always look through the bunch for treasures.

Good luck saving a pile of 2009 images in the middle of the 21st century at
some garage sale--at best they'd be a pile of CD-Rs, which by some miracle
would still be readable.
