I also use it when we go somewhere with the grandchildren. The M8or9 come out when things are more serious, particularly hiking and so forth. The FF dslr comes out rarely, it offers few benefits I use it mainly around home where the size is less of a pain. For me the M9 is -not- that much of an upgrade over the M8. Having now used both I am pretty happy with the M9, but knowing what I know now it would not have been a big problem for me to have just stuck to the M8. For me.
