The apo-telyt 280mm f4 to which Doug refers is a relatively late Leica  
R lens designed without compromise with 6 of the 7 elements of ED  
glass (according to Lager) it is possibly the best camera lens Leica  
have ever made being diffraction limited from wide open. It is fairly  
small, and I want one...
