I _would_ like to see if the sharpening and noise reduction are as good as the Focus Magic and Neat Image I use in CS2. If they are, CS2 is going lead a very lonely life in future. The, the only thing I'll miss in LR is a decent perspective correction tool (one of the best is from a site called MV's Plugins (only for Gates-ware) and it's free - Herr Vicanek seems to be one of the cleverer young software boffins, some are just fun toys, but others very useful.) Take a look at http://www.vicanek.de/plugins.htm Cheers Douglas Steve Barbour wrote: > thanks Douglas... > > are you trying it? > > can you safely install it along side of 2.5 without screwing things up? > > > Steve > > > > > > On Oct 22, 2009, at 9:10 AM, Douglas Sharp wrote: > >> Hi Steve, >> >> I already read all the reviews - it doesn't work with your existing >> libraries, collections etc. and closes down completely after 3 months. >> >> There do, however, seem to be quite a few improvements in it. >> >> Here's the review on dpreview >> >> http://www.dpreview.com/news/0910/09102202adobelightroom3beta.asp >> >> Cheers >> Douglas >> >> Steve Barbour wrote: >>> new, beta available... >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> just, >>> >>> will have to follow, >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> Steve >>> >>> >>> >>> _______________________________________________ >>> Leica Users Group. >>> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >>> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >
