At macro distances your bokeh will be not much more than a massive blur with 
little definition of objects in the background.  the depth from 
sharp/relative sharp to out of focus is like immediate, no gradual fading to 
out of focus involved.  The examples shown of the 50 'cron and 60 Elmarit R 
of flowers are more of the normal range.  If that is what you are looking 
for, then my comments do not apply, as these are not macro shots.  On the 
other hand, maybe I don't understand what you are looking for.  ;-)  Either 
way the 60 is a great lens, I really like mine.
