[Leica] Hasselblad digi-backs, lenses - was M9"M8

You already HAVE the system, presumably.  What you need is the Digital back,
only to get a MF Hassy based system up and running..

Will it beat an ( unknown price) M9?  Don't know.  There is no M9, yet.

But an M9 is a different beast, for different purposes.....IMO and in my
use.

Forget the Canon, Nikon, etc.  I own some Nikon lenses, but not like I own
Hassy lenses. No Canon here.
TO use a Nikon or Canon DSLR, it would take buying the camera and lenses.
Your situation may be different, and viable decision set for you.

BTW, the 39MP Hassy back for the V system is $14K.

I spoke to the Calumet Rep today ( coincidence)... he told me there are no
loaner/demo backs out there..... 
I did confirm that all I would need is the back.... my 500CM will work just
fine with my CF lenses.

Does that $6 to $11K 'blad C back buy me into a system that will  
truly, in the real world,
perform significantly better, for what I need or want to do, than
that same $6 to $11K purchasing a similar part for another existing  
(on my shelf) system?
i.e. M9, Nikon 3 whatever, etc.

I've been trying, unsuccessfully, to find a CMV to rent and truly  
find out.
Anyone know of one for rent?
