Concerns of conservation, identifying the photographers and subjects aside, I feel the Center wanted to be sure of what inferences, if any, might be drawn about the authenticity of Capa's famous, moment of truth photograph which has been the object of much & IMO unjustified doubt in recent years. The driving force behind the foundation of ICP was Capa's brother, Cornell, who clearly dedicated his efforts to his brother's memory.
