It is the most comprehensive list I know of. http://www.digital-leica.com/lens_codes/ You might like to try the different possibilities if you are hand coding. For lenses where a mounting screw is in the coding area, the common approach is to fill the entire screw head with white paint until the depression is filled or nearly so. I used Humbrol model paint matt white. (I coded a Milich flange for my Zeiss 18) Some people report that only the black marks are significant, (assuming the camera reads anything else as white?) If you needed a black mark overlapping the screw head you could try filling the screw head with white matte paint and then applying the black mark when it was thoroughly dry? 2009/4/27 David Keenan <ausdlk at gmail.com> > For those who have done this, what Leica lens is the best choice for the > Nokton f/1.2? > > 35mm Summicron or Summilux? > > For anyone using the M-Coder -- how do you deal with the screw that mucks > up > making one of coding marks? > . > Dave. > > -- > 2009 PAW Gallery: www.david-keenan.com/paw > Web Site: www.david-keenan.com > Austin Center for Photography: www.visitacp.org -- Check it out!!! > ACP Blog: www.visitacp.org/blog -- New!!! > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > -- Cheers Geoff 'Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On' http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/a/ http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman
