No idea if they designed it that way.

But the more I thought about it
the more I seemed to recall
occasionally putting a 35 summicron on my M3
(and the window seemed close enough)
back in the day when I generally ran
with an M2/21SA and M3/50/90/cron
with sort of a head shot and environs
newspaper attitude.

Could be dreaming
(it was nearly 40 yrs ago
but the M2/21 SA memory
feels like yesterday-the hands remember)
