Hello, Jan,

Does your case have a part number stamped on the outside base?  Mine  
is stamped 14871. The top on mine pivots around a black, snap like  
button but there is no arrow. The top comes off by pushing up the  
black button from the base to the top. The black button should have  
it's back fitted into a round disk, with a slot, fixed to the back of  
the case. It does take some force but the top should slide off of the  
back of the bottom of the case. See if you can see the round disk  
with the slot.
