I thought my digital b&w conversions were pretty good, but these raise the bar. Beautiful tonality. Maybe it is not possible to duplicate this with digital conversions, but it is always good to have a target (I think that old dude Andrea del Sarto said something like that...or Robert Browning...one of those guys anyway).
