[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Rei, The M8 uses the 6 bit code and the lens frame selector position to generate the data for the files. ?The 21 Elmarit Asph I bought new last July has the 6 bit code, and it is the correct code. ?However the lens does not imprint the data as it does not bring up the correct frame lines. ?If I manually select the frame lines, it then records the data in the file. ?The lens mount is incorrect, according to the Leica reps I talked to at Photokina, so it is now in NJ to have the mount replaced with the correct part.?
