When the vignetting IR issues first presented themselves many were writing actions to overcome them. APITA as far as I was concerned. I'd think that writing plug-ins for all the different post processing apps would not be a very inconsistent way to achieve the best possible file out of the camera. Minimal and/or creative post processing only and best possible file right-out-of the-camera gets my vote.
