You live in and are a citizen of the USA but do not recognize the President as YOUR President as well as mine? Are you in some parallel reality? Or have some different definition of our National Leader? A Democratically elected leader is not, by definition, the only person on the ballot. He just won an election, and for time he is in office, represents all of us. Yes, he may not represent your point of view wrt a particular viewpoint. But for the 4 years he has been elected to office, we are committed to the fact that he is the leader of our country. The reason our Government get so little done is partisanship. These guys and girls are elected to do a job. If they were in a privately or especially publicly owned company they would get fired for their antics. I don't know who said it.. but you are either part of the problem or you are part of the solution. Partisanship is part of the problem.. maybe all of the problem. He may not represent your point of view, but it all we have for the next ( or past) 4 years. Get with the program and make it work... Find a way to make it work in your reality.... You are a citizen of OUR United States.. Dissent? Go for it, just use it on a Political list, not a camera list..... I just feel it is inappropriate. Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net I am uncomfortable with that wording--it has that "My country, right or wrong" spin which is often used to shout down dissent. Besides, I never felt that he was MY president or in any way represented what I believed.
