Thanks Hoppy, I think I need to work on this one a bit more, but the bones
look OK to me. I'll keep the krill coming ;-)

Alastair for me, the darks are gone completely on screen. If there's any
information there you could doubtless lift those parts at least a stop to
start with? Maybe from one or more of the original colour channels? There is
sparkle and bite in the water and the mid ground ice, less on the mountains.
Some selective sharpen/contrast maybe?
The content is spectacular, naturally. The two bracketing slopes somehow
annoy me. They are neither mountain nor space.
I might consider a composition maybe that was not so symmetrical. It is
pretty static (to me) as presented. Which may be completely irrelevant but
was my second impression.
Did I mention that I remain insanely jealous of these trips of yours and
that you have the mother of all dynamic ranges to deal with there?
My two grams of krill worth.

G'day all,

I've begun to work up another landscape:

I would love comments, especially any negative ones with suggestions for
improvements. Where is GB when you need him ;-)

Cheers

Alastair
