Umm, sorry to rain on this, but please check if Don does electronic repairs. 
  Same goes for Sherry Krauter.

The M6 needs a computer to recalibrate the meter, especially if the circuit 
board is changed out.

I am afraid that you might be locked into dealing with Leica USA for this.

I used Kindermann, who is authorized by Leica to do electronic repairs, to 
fix my MP.
