Subject: [Leica] Wow, truly sad for JPEG magazine

Perhaps if they'd called themselves Tiff they'd not have deteriorated with
every save.

I'd look at the jpeg very carefully at the magazine stand being very
carefully to put it back carefully.
Seriously the term "jpeg" is loaded with meaning but much of it negative and
tentative and certainly a mixed bag. They kind of disappear every time you
open them and seem designed to exist in cyber space to print one seems
silly.
If you asked me to back new magazine coming out called "jpeg" I'd decline
saying it sounds very ear today gone tomorrow.
They belong on your ipod not your bookshelf.

Perhaps a magazine will come out called .png might last longer on the
shelves.
