When I discovered Werner, I realized that post war Europe could be portrayed 
with beauty. He was an inspired artist and committed humanistic journalist: 
a real favorite of Helen and I.

He's fine.  Didn't he do the picture of Japanese monks with umbrellas in
the snow?  That is one of my favorite photos.
